AVE Technologies successfully secured and delivered the installation of 700 metres of ADSS fibre across seven 66kV overhead power lines at a copper mine in Central NSW. The project’s scope involved establishing a reliable communications link between the mine’s existing core network cabinet and a new ventilation fan shaft, positioned at the termination point of a 66kV direct-fed fan. This critical infrastructure upgrade enhanced network connectivity and operational monitoring within a challenging high-voltage environment. AVE’s team applied its specialist expertise in fibre-optic installation, electrical safety, and high-voltage integration to ensure the project was completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with mine-site standards.
