The Catherine McCauley Catholic College in Medowie is one of the newest secondary schools in the Hunter region, serving the Port Stephens community.
As a foundation school, Catherine McAuley is uniquely positioned to adopt the most modern and successful teaching and learning practices and provide a more engaging and versatile educational environment for secondary students. The college has been ambitious with its approach to learning, characterised by research-informed practice, personalised student pathways, STEM and local industry partnerships.
To assist this cutting edge learning pathway, Catherine McAuley engaged us with the task of installing a variety of audiovisual systems across the college campus. These systems consist of digital signage displays, audio and video distribution systems, conferencing systems, and professional PA equipment that provide a deeply engaging learning environment for the students.
Installation quality is always a priority for our team. With this project, the selection of equipment and quality of workmanship was essential in ensuring seamless integration into the unique architectural environment of the school whilst not compromising on functionality or performance.
The Medowie college is the first in the Diocese to be designed with full campus-wide Wi-Fi connectivity, supporting indoor and outdoor learning environments. The learning environments are future-focused, with an emphasis on flexibility and agility. This project was immensely satisfying, knowing the role it will play in so many children.
